New Serverless Website Up And Running

My new technology consulting website is up and running!

This new version is 100% architected on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in a Lambda serverless architecture using Zappa -- a Python event-driven application framework. It is locked down in it's own Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) with AWS services communicating via Security Group permissions.

Under the hood it is still a Python3 Django powered website, with all the Object Relational Mapper (ORM) goodness, connected to an AWS RDS database instance.

What this means is a secure, super-responsive, elastic, scalable website framework that is extremely low cost -- with AWS Lambda you only pay for the milliseconds of server time that is requested by your website visitors, so it's many orders of magnitude cheaper than the typical virtual private server/platform-as-a-service hosts like Linode or Heroku -- and in most cases, it's completely free!

Plus, there's no need to worry about load balancing or keeping servers online ever again.

Maintenance begone!
